So I’ve been tending my garden and the lavender, purple coneflowers, daisies, lemon balm, thyme and other herbs and flowers have really grown since I planted them last year. August 18, 2015. Paulina dug some potatoes for the stews we made tonight and I pulled out a few carrots. This is what they looked like. I am afraid that I took the largest ones, so we will have to let the rest grow a little longer before we pull any more. Potatoes and tomatoes we picked today. As I mentioned on my lucindalines site just a few minutes ago, we were away from the garden for three days at the end of July, and the wind and the heat took advantage of our absence. The cucumbers that I picked this morning showed signs of no water stress. I grabbed the hose and ran it for nearly half an hour in the cucumbers, zucchini and the marigolds. Meg graduated from the Guildford School of Acting in 2012 and soon after landed the role of April in Alex Parker's 'Company'. To kick off 2013 she entered and won the Monologue Slam UK, where she was scouted to perform at London's infamous Comedy Store. Meg is also part of the 1940s close harmony trio.
