I tried a few flour combinations to get this right, and it’s a big winner for my family! 2/3 cup sorghum flour. 2/3 cup almond flour. 1/3 cup tapioca flour. 1 Tbsp GF baking powder. 1 tsp baking soda. 1 tsp Xanthum Gum. 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg. 1/4 tsp ground cloves. 1/2 cup canned pure pumpkin (not pumpkin pie filling). 1/4 cup sour cream.

I also met my care coordinator. She’s pretty much in charge of scheduling all of my appointments and coordinating with each doctor on my care/treatment team. Today was testing day. I had to start fasting at 8pm last night. With my hypothyroidism (Hashimoto’s) I’m pretty use to doing fasting blood draws. However, I had a lot of blood drawn this morning 15 vials! That’s a record for me. I think the most I’ve had drawn was 7. I felt like a blood bank. August 22, 2014 at 10:02 pm.
