My Sacred Vocation: Mary & Gabriel
http://the3rsonline.blogspot.com/2012/12/mary-gabriel.html
Saturday, December 22, 2012. The girls wanted to reenact the birth of Jesus for us today, so Macy was director, Lily played Mary and Ava was Gabriel and the inn keeper. Joseph decided to play Legos instead, so it was what you would consider a "loosely based" rendition. Telling Mary the good news is quite humorous. The director was not amused. Merry Christmas to all of you. Mary is looking very gypsy/colorful like. I bet she looked just like your girls! Beautiful and full (literally) of promise! For the M...

It's the little things...: Daddy-O
http://theraefs.blogspot.com/2011/06/daddy-o.html
It's the little things. Sunday, June 19, 2011. Happy Father's Day to one heck of a man! Over the past 4 1/2 years, you have really gotten the hang of this daddy thing. I must say, you were a natural from the start, but every day that goes by, you seem to impress me more and more with your fathering ability. You are a fun dad! I am confident when I say, there is nothing you wouldn't do for these little ones to make them smile :). You are an amazing father! Happy Father's Day my love! Up-to-the-Minute Frid...

My Sacred Vocation: March 2012
http://the3rsonline.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, March 21, 2012. The visit from the tooth fairy. Yesterday two of the kids had to go to the dentist. Jack has had his 2 front teeth loose for a long time but wouldn't or couldn't get them loose enough to pull. Then he developed abscesses with each one, so it became necessary to remove them. Oie I did remind my husband that if there is no TOOTH then the fairy has probably already come! Meanwhile, Jack's rich from our miscommunication. Links to this post. Links to this post. My Sacred Vocation: February 2013
http://the3rsonline.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 10, 2013. For most of the day, my hubby took 4 of the kids out of the house while Macy and I did some major cooking. We stocked the freezer with 3 breakfasts, 17 suppers, and 4 loves of bread. We were exhausted by the end but I loved spending the time alone with her, helping her learn to cook and getting to find out what's on her mind. Notice Barbie photo-bombing the picture with her leg? Macy has glasses now. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Email me at amy1216@me.com.

It's the little things...: Snow Day
http://theraefs.blogspot.com/2011/02/snow-day.html
It's the little things. Thursday, February 10, 2011. The girls were so excited to get out in all that snow yesterday! I'm not sure how many inches we got here in Amarillo, but we had a six foot snow drift outside our bedroom window. The sun was shining and there was no wind. Needless to say, we had a lot of fun outside. We had a snow ball fight, made snow angels, and attempted to build a snow man, but the snow was too soft. 1 lg bowl full of snow. And we crushed up butterfingers and put it in ours.

It's the little things...: January 2011
http://theraefs.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
It's the little things. Wednesday, January 19, 2011. I'm sure there will be several more stories to come under this title. Gracie has really been getting into cutting with scissors. It's mostly paper, but I've been waiting for the day to come when she realizes scissors can cut more than just.paper. It was a Sunday afternoon and I had a few errands to run. I left Josh and the girls at home knowing they would have lots of fun father daughter bonding time. I got back home around 3:30 to find this. It has be...

It's the little things...: March 2011
http://theraefs.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
It's the little things. Thursday, March 31, 2011. This little guy did not want to give it up. He was hiding until the very last minutes of our sono. You can see his sweet little feet in the picture, and we were able to count all of his fingers. It's amazing to think something so tiny can be so incredibly perfect. Wednesday, March 23, 2011. I had been waiting for this moment for weeks! Here we are today at 17 weeks. Happy, healthy, and completely blessed. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Arrows In Our Quiver.

It's the little things...: Today, I am thankful....
http://theraefs.blogspot.com/2011/06/today-i-am-thankful.html
It's the little things. Monday, June 6, 2011. Today, I am thankful. For my husband - the only man who can do his job and mine, all with a smile and never complain once. Five years ago, I knew I was marrying a good man, but never in my wildest dreams did I imagine I was marrying THIS good of a man. For my mom - a second mommy to my girls. She has such strong faith in God and is constantly positive about any situation. I am so humbled by all the people who are here for us. June 11, 2011 at 8:26 AM. Wish we...
