Sipping Streams Tea House. Sipping Streams Tea Company. Has just opened a tea house in Fairbanks. They are doing a grand opening on Friday, April 3rd from 5pm to 7pm. There will be free tea and food! I just stopped by there today and had a very yummy, natural(no sugar), mango green tea smoothie and a wonderful salmon salad sandwich (with no crusts! They are in the building by Gullivers downstairs from Wok n Roll (where the magic carpet used to be). What: Sipping Streams Tea House opening.

Hello, I will be moving to Minocqua, WI in a couple weeks for a two month internship. I grew up in the Northwest and have lived the last 5 years in the interior of Alaska. Is there anything people can tell me about the community atmosphere in Minocqua? How is the weather in the fall? Are people easy to talk to or keep to themselves? Best place to rent in Anchorage. We have a baby on the way and would like to move to a better area. But we are not sure where to look. Online reviews are pretty scarce. One place we were kind of leaning towards turned out to be a total dump and the reviewers were quite unanimous about it. Maybe someone could recommend a semi-decent place?
