It’s taken us 4 and a half years but we finally managed to plan a family trip back “home” in December, together, for the first time since arriving in Singapore. To say it was awesome is only because I can’t find another word to describe it! Time spent with family was super special. Seeing cousins and friends and meeting new family members for the first time. Making new memories and reliving the old. Laughter, tears and festivities galore! The sights and all things amazing will be treasured forever. Sayin...

To the woman who tutted at me using the disabled toilets…. Brilliantly written and bloody well said Sam! And as for the “cleaners” who sit in the disabled bathroom and have a snooze or spend forever on their phones occupying a space which could be direly in need by someone else, well…let’s not go there! Dear lady who loudly tutted at me using the disabled loos,. You tutted loudly as I rattled the handle with my hands that work perfectly and my able voice call to my kids that I’d be out in just a minute.
