Tuesday, October 27, 2009. October has been a month for celebrating. October 14th we flew to Munich for a European vacation and stayed with my friend Luisa and her boyfriend Bjorn. On Friday Travis and I toured Munich. The day was cold with snow flurries(! But we bundled up and walked comfortably all over the city. We celebrated that evening with a tour of Munich's finest brew houses, like the Pauliner (to the right - where we received an awesome behind the scenes tour of the art of German beer making).

The days are crazy lately, and it isn't easy to stop and just be thankful. The last time I updated, we had just moved to Georgia and I was about 6 weeks out from giving birth to baby #2. Fiona Margaret arrived 6 days late almost exactly like Jon, so I had another c-section, but we were just happy to have a healthy baby! Jonathan has accepted a position as an Associate Professor at Oxford College of Emory University in Oxford, GA starting in August 2013. I am so incredibly proud of him! This is a tenure track position, so if he does well and likes it there, we could possibly be there for a long time. (Forever-ever). April 3, 2013 at 10:44 AM.
