I made some prospective test boutonnieres; my daughter is going to homecoming, and rather than giving her date one of the many cookie cutter boutonnieres from the local market, we thought I'd try my hand at fashioning something more unusual. Once upon a time, when I was about a year older than my daughter is now [yikes, what? Standard traditional carnation- corny/cool, can't go wrong.
