One of the things that concerns me about raising a child alone, is that I believe that children need a male influence in their lives. Children need to see what good men are, and what makes them tick. Finding a reason to ride. Taking a bike lock is often far to inconvenient. The best single solution has yet to be reached that combines convenience, lightweight, and security. Now there is a move to develop systems, not to protect the bike from being stolen but simply to locate it afterwards. We bought the curtains from Ikea when we were in DC for my work trip, and then my friend Angie. Who is a fantastic seamstress, hemmed them to the perfect length for our windows.
