Mrs. Yankee Belle: August 2010
http://jujubug329.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Yankee by birth, Southern by choice. Friday, August 27, 2010. Two Weeks Notice is Too Long. So if you ever have to quit a job - just do it and don't ever come back. I have come to the conclusion that giving a two weeks notice is stupid. You really need to just quit like that Southwest Airlines guy and be done with it. This is like a loooooong sloooooooow break up and I just need a clean break. And really - why am I acting all emotional? I QUIT. I didn't get fired. I did the breaking up. Geesh. 3 I do not...

Mrs. Yankee Belle: July 2010
http://jujubug329.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Yankee by birth, Southern by choice. Thursday, July 29, 2010. The Con's of Hibachi. It was a random Wednesday, so it wasn't too busy and we were seated at a table by ourselves. Then I see the hostess coming over with a group of 4 that no joke could have use pictures of the Clampett's during Doppleganger Week on Facebook. OK, so maybe the Clampett's were a little better looking. What redneck woman doesn't show her beer gut? At least half of the time we were there. The little Hibachi Chef comes and starts ...

M & M: January 2014
http://melissaandmince.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Sunday, January 12, 2014. 1 You love to open and close doors and drawers. Kitchen cabinets that have pots or pans behind them are especially fun. You also really like to open and close the shower door. It makes a squeaky noise at one point and it seems as though you swing it back and forth to inspect it. 2 You pull yourself to standing on everything. The couch, baby gate, kitchen drawer, toilet (we're just glad you haven't learned how to play in the water yet). 5 When we ask, "How big is Charlie? Melissa...

M & M: October 2014
http://melissaandmince.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 15, 2014. We went out to Stribling Orchard on Columbus Day. Luckily, it wasn't too crowded and there were still plenty of apples on the trees. Charlie enjoyed riding in the carrier while holding a little apple as we filled our bags. Of course we had to have an apple cinnamon donut from the bakery before we left. Apple picking is tiring! Friday, August 15, 2014. I was planning to take your picture every four months in the second year, but month sixteen slipped right by me. So here you are at seventeen months. You are so, so fun right now. Well, except for the week when you were breaking all four molars AND had hand, foot, and mouth disease. That week you were not fun. But, luckily, that week is over and you are back to being your happy, lovable little self. You also love all cleaning related items. Friday, August 8, 2014. We all enjoyed ...

M & M: September 2013
http://melissaandmince.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 30, 2013. We went to our favorite orchard, Stribling Orchard, for some apple picking again this year. The weather was great and the apples were plentiful. Charlie enjoyed people watching around the orchard and loved holding his very own tiny apple. We came home with tons of apples and a jar of pumpkin butter. I made an apple pie, delicious cinnamon-apple cake. And two huge pots of applesauce (mostly for Charlie). Monday, September 16, 2013. Saturday, September 14, 2013. 5 You are very g...

M & M: December 2014
http://melissaandmince.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 11, 2014. Ever since we lived in our apartment we have bought a real Christmas tree. Most years we buy from the same tree lot (set up in the middle of a parking lot). This year when we pulled up there weren't any trees in sight. We were sort of at a loss for what to do. That's where we always. Go We like it because rather than trees leaning over, they stand them on posts so you can view them from all angles. And the employees are really nice. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

M & M: December 2013
http://melissaandmince.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 30, 2013. Christmas morning was so much more exciting shared with a little one! Charlie found such joy in simply pulling strips of wrapping paper off presents.any presents, not just his. I imagine it will be even more exciting next year! We woke up at home, opened presents, and enjoyed our traditional monkey bread before heading out for a busy day. Next stop, my Mom's house for presents and lunch. Also, it was an ugly sweater party lest you think we always like to wear such apparel.

M & M: February 2014
http://melissaandmince.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 23, 2014. I was trying to wait as long as possible before taking Charlie to get his first haircut. I'm not exactly sure why.I think I just didn't want him to lose his "babyness." Once boys get their hair cut, they always look like little toddlers and I just wasn't ready. Then Charlie was mistaken for a girl on more than one occasion, so I figured it was time to trim his little mullet. Saturday, February 15, 2014. 1 You have become incredibly loving! 3 You have a mullet. I don't want ...
