This trail Map shows existing Kennebec River Rail Trail from Augusta to Gardiner. The Merrymeeting Trail would extend that trail to Topsham. From there the Topsham Bike Path will connect the Merrymeeting Trail to the Androscoggin River Bike Path. Many of the issues can be seen in the photographs taken along the route. In 2010 the committee was able to fund a feasibility study. The contract to perform the study was awarded to VHB.
