MessyStuff:ALifeWithRSD: Happy Birthday Grandad!

http://messystuffalifewithrsd.blogspot.com/2009/08/happy-birthday-grandad.html

Tuesday, 18 August 2009. It was my nanans Birthday today so I went to see her. My nanan and grandads Birthday are a day apart and they were the same age for a day! It was SO hard laying the flowers. I think it hit us all that this would be his first Birthday that we wouldn't be able to celebrate together. We always did something on my grandads Birthday so it was so hard knowing that we wouldn't be able to this year. If tears could build a staircase. And memories a lane,. I'd walk right up to Heaven.

MessyStuff:ALifeWithRSD: December 2008

http://messystuffalifewithrsd.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html

Wednesday, 31 December 2008. Time to Reflect on The Past Year. As the year ends, I thought it would be nice to reflect on the past year and to think about all of the things that I have achieved, the things that I need to work on, the things that I wish I did differently etc. I have learnt so many things this past year that I never even imagined were possible, some of the things I have learnt unfortunately had to be learnt the hard way whilst some of the things I learnt for myself by talking to others.

MessyStuff:ALifeWithRSD: Update

http://messystuffalifewithrsd.blogspot.com/2009/10/update.html

Monday, 5 October 2009. I haven't updated my Blog for quite a long time so please accept my sincere apologies for that - things have been pretty hectic here lately so I haven't been able to get on the computer much! I started College about 3 weeks ago and am really enjoying it! It seems so strange saying that i'm at College as most people don't start until they are 16 years old and i'm only 14 lol! Just today in fact, my tutor was saying that she thinks the course is a lot harder than most others and thi...

MessyStuff:ALifeWithRSD: First College Placement Finished!

http://messystuffalifewithrsd.blogspot.com/2009/12/first-college-placement-finished.html

Friday, 4 December 2009. First College Placement Finished! Just under 2 weeks ago, I started my first ever College placement. As most of you know, I am studying a Course in Health and Social Care and as part of that course, you have to do 50 days of placements throughout 2 years. The time seems to have gone really quick. It only seems like two minutes since I started at the Care Home. I have really been kept busy having to communicate with the residents, help serve dinners and set tables, help th...I've ...

Smiles, Butterflies and Happiness: I'm not freaking out...I promise!

http://alessea.blogspot.com/2009/10/im-not-freaking-outi-promise.html

Smiles, Butterflies and Happiness. Daydreaming On The Bright Side! I'm not freaking out.I promise! Its been awhile since I updated on here, that’s because I’m about to rush head on into finals (2 weeks left of class and then right into them). Things haven’t been amazing in a few areas to the point I’ve been musing on giving up…I never would I promise! But sometimes the thought that it would be the easiest thing to do crosses my mind. I need to sleep! Oh and just to complete things, when I fell and broke ...

Smiles, Butterflies and Happiness: Home on 'break'...

http://alessea.blogspot.com/2009/08/home-on-break.html

Smiles, Butterflies and Happiness. Daydreaming On The Bright Side! I got asked the other day if I was home on break or home because of the break lol! Technically I'm home on break but if it hadn't conveniently been a scheduled uni break I may have had to take time off anyway. The OT has been persistent in reminding that the shaken brain deserves time to heal and that not giving it what it needs now may come back and bite me in the back so to speak. Friday, 28 August 2009. Hey you, Beautiful Lady! GP noti...

Smiles, Butterflies and Happiness: When the price for not doing is greater than the price for doing

http://alessea.blogspot.com/2009/11/when-price-for-not-doing-is-greater.html

Smiles, Butterflies and Happiness. Daydreaming On The Bright Side! When the price for not doing is greater than the price for doing. I've been working on this post off and on few a few weeks but now have hopefully finished it, I dont think its as good as I wanted it to be but I hope it makes sense despite that. When the price for not doing is greater than the price for doing. And that is a force to be reckoned with (and sometimes it needs to be). Have you heard of the spoon theory. This is what has got m...

Smiles, Butterflies and Happiness: November 2009

http://alessea.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html

Smiles, Butterflies and Happiness. Daydreaming On The Bright Side! Hip surgery 3 years on. Its hard to believe it was 3 years ago today I had my surgery, 3 years is not that long but seems like forever when I think about what has taken place since. And now my open hip surgery for labral pathology and FAI has now become an arthroscopic procedure that my surgeon performs (and Jess knows that only too well lol). So I think I'm going to say "Happy birthday" born again hip! Sunday, 22 November 2009. Heres the...

http://alessea.blogspot.com/2010/01/where-ive-been.html

Smiles, Butterflies and Happiness. Daydreaming On The Bright Side! Its been a long month. and a lot has happened which I probably meant to keep updated on here but I'm sure you will forgive me :) the real world takes up so much time and energy that its hard to find the time to fit in all my cyber wantings. So what have I been up to? Thats a good question. and to save you reading a novel I shall bullet point the past 4 weekish. Traveling back home again (another 6 hour bus ride). Due to increasingly worse...

Smiles, Butterflies and Happiness. Daydreaming On The Bright Side! CRPS won this week". That is a quote from a text Jo sent me yesterday.CRPS has certainly had the upper hand this week, but have we given up? And as for me, I followed in Jo's footsteps. I had a fight with a judder bar (speed bump or whatever you call them) on a down hill driveway. It won. Saturday, 22 August 2009. CRPS won this week,. I am about to fight back,. We had a little chat after an event last Saturday with a lady I haven't seen much (due to being away for uni).and she asked me how long I had been away.4 years.so much has happened in those years its scary looking back at them! Smiles, Butterflies and Happiness. Daydreaming On The Bright Side! Summer break kinda crept up on me.*Surprise*. I am proud of where I'm sitting (well actually laying if you want the complete truth), I finished 3rd year of my physio degree.I made it through 3 years of tough study and though I faltered at times-I never gave up! Smiles, Butterflies and Happiness. Daydreaming On The Bright Side! Emerging from the shadows. I am determined to get back in the saddle and write more regular posts on this blog. I always intended this to be my thinking space (so does this mean I haven't been thinking for the last few months? I have been pre-occupied with many things lately, starting clinical rotations. moving house. missing so many people. health 'stuff'. Friday, 14 August 2015. Guest Host for the August Mixed Media Challenge at FUL. I am so excited to have been asked to host the Mixed Media Challenge in the Flying Unicorn Forum. For August. This is one of my favorite challenges as I love playing with different mediums. For my project I chose to alter some Creative Embellishments. I started with the Steampunk Frame. And the light switch cover from my craft room. I covered all 3 pieces with black gesso and let dry. I then grabbed my Shimmerz. I hope my pie...

Just another WordPress.com weblog. I should be paying attention! July 5, 2009. Lester asks us to turn to Hebrews 12:. I love the sound of thin onion paper rustling and crinkling as an entire church looks for a verse in the Bible. Way to go Lester- knocking one out of the park for sermon today! June 28, 2009. So, I recapped much of what happened before, during and after Easter week in my last post. These past few days, I haven't spent much of my time in the kitchen. Instead, I have "tried". Preparing the first dish. We. Were surprised the sauce had cheese. Friday evening, I joined my aunt and my sister for a night of Culinary Therapy.
