I bought two bunches of organic basil for $4.00 and tonight I made pesto. There is nothing like the aroma of garlic, olive oil and basil. It is truly one of the highlights of the summer in Seattle. People wear body paint and ride bikes, others are in colorful and imaginative costumes. It is a creative event I participate in every year.
