Him We Proclaim: May 2013
http://himweproclaim.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Saturday, May 25, 2013. I must admit, I'm rather ashamed at how late you are receiving this post. I appreciate your patience, and I haven't received too much hate mail for my delay. I shall not make excuses, but I will. Make mention of the fact that my Dad is out of the country and has been since May 11 [ the day after my 9 month birthday. Is on the computer. Okay, maybe not always, but most. I'm still barreling on behind that walker of mine. Unfortunately, I don't have an up to date video of the pro...

Notes Along the Way: Aramaic!
http://alongtheway-mets.blogspot.com/2007/05/aramaic.html
Notes Along the Way. Friday, May 18, 2007. May 17, 2007. On Thursday, we drove to Maaloula on top of a mountain. This is a Christian (Melkite - Greek Catholic) community that still speaks Aramaic. I got to hear the Lord's prayer spoken in the language that Jesus spoke! This is the rector at this 1600. I hear what you mean about everything being old. I realized on our travel seminar in college to Rome, Greece, Kenya, and Tanzania that "old" to me meant Williamsburg! May 21, 2007 at 2:07 PM. Ready, Set, Go.

In addition to the students, 6 lay people came on the trip as well as 2 Old Testament scholars (Dr. Max Miller and Dr. Steve McKenzie) who led us. And everyone else's pictures here. Arrived in Damascus i...

Rev Mindy’s Meanderings. Musings on life, faith, and community as lived out “across the pond”. Archive for March, 2008. Prayers for Zimbabwe and how NOT to do Biblical interpretation. 29, March 2008. Zimbabweans are going to the polls today. Let those of us who live so far away join our prayers with those in the country who are voting. My prayer for the troubled country of Zimbabwe is for peace, justice, and a stable economy. I hope a free and fair election happens, but I have serious. And now, how to NOT.

http://alongtheway-mets.blogspot.com/2007/05/me.html
Notes Along the Way. Sunday, May 20, 2007. I noticed looking at my blog that there are no pictures of me, so you might be worried whether I am really here. So here is one. That's me in the white tee-shirt at the base of Hadrian's gate at the south entrance to Jerash. I'll try to do better in the future! What a wonderful journey so far! I thought it would have been a great place for a proposal, but we'd only known each other for two weeks, so the opportunity was lost . . . Ha! Keep up the great posts; It ...
