Since the inception of Handbells as a PVA in Metta School in 2005, the Handbell Group has come a long way in terms of student participation and giving performances. Handbells is not as some would think hold a bell and ring it. On the contrary, each bell comes with a different note and a student has to remember the note he/she is playing and be able to follow the exact beat of the tune, to know when to come in and play.
