Thursday, June 5, 2008. Ella loves to sit up, so I thought I would try her chair. Sure enough, she is talking away in the kitchen. Good practice since we women tend to gather in the kitchen. Monday, August 4, 2008. Ella's First Day of Day Care. Ella managed to get through her first day of day care. Hey, did you think she wouldn't? Ha, we know it's harder for the mom than the baby. Ed, thankfully, will be dropping Ella off in the mornings. This morning was rough for me and Ed was so sweet about it. Anyhow, the folks at the Lighthouse Academy loved Ella (what else would they really tell you) and said she had a good day. She must have had fun, this is 15 minutes into being home.

After 6 days of 103.8 fever and all of the other fun symptoms of flu we've finally knocked it out of her! Without any of us getting it!
