When I let them out back they both sprinted towards the very far end of the yard. They'd never done that before. Huh? It is a hill station built by the French near the top of a mountain that towers alone over the rice paddies. Its major attraction is the climate (I was actually too cold! Wednesday, August 16, 2006. Saigon, the Mekong, Hoi An. Since I last wrote, I have been in Ho Chi Minh City and the Mekong Delta. Next, we headed north to Hoi An, a pretty old town with 200 year old architecture and more tailor shops than you can count. It involves two towns in two states, a bridge, lightly falling snow and little white lights.
