A Winter at Many Glacier. I don't get to take snow days when we have winter weather. Considering that the snow starts in September and October the drifts are starting to really pile up. At the end of a long day inside the cold hotel its nice to take a break in a snow bank. Looks like hard work but I sure it's worth it! Love, love, love the pictures! A Winter at Many Glacier. February 05th, 2015. Here is a shot of the hotel lobby sleeping through the long Montana winter. The wind was blowing hard today and sometimes you can actually hear what sounds like voices and singing as it blows through cracks in widows and doors.
