Another new blog coming soon. Friday, March 26, 2010. So I figure it's time to get over it. The big day is July 31, 2010 at 7:00AM at Herb Parsons like outside of Memphis. I'm so excited! I hope to find the time to actually blog about the experience, but my new job is keeping me pretty busy and worn out. I LOVE IT! Oh, and any advice on tri gear would be awesome! Thursday, April 03, 2008. Jamaica. what more can I say? How about Jamiaca and the Ritz Carlton? We spent time at the pool, the beach and we even went on a catamaran cruise one day. During our cruise, the boat anchored off shore so that we could snorkle. It was incredible. I really had an "WOW" moment looking at all the creatures under the water. What a wonderfully creative God we have! It took a lot of the guilt off of us knowing he was spending quality time with his Grandma and Grandpa McGee.

Tuesday, December 16, 2008. SoI am totally playing off of one of my favorite commercials on TV (the num yummy Campbells ad). I had to talk about this fabulous drink that my friend Holly Winn. Told me she's hooked on. Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate from Starbucks. The only problem beyond the ridiculously overpriced tag on it is the calorie content. 590 calories and 26 g of fat for a venti! How is that even possible? How could I not taste the 8 strips of bacon and lump of lard in this drink?

Sunday, November 02, 2008. That's what we had this weekend. Gavin had a wonderful time as a lion. I don't know how this happened but we managed to NOT get a picture of Gavin with my niece Allie who was Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz. They were adorable. My nephew Chase refused to be the Tin Man or Scarecrow. he went as Anakin from Star Wars. Chad and I attended Halloween parties. I have been trying to eat better, though. Last night two friends and I decided to see who could drop 10 pounds the fastest. Losers treat winner to a mani pedi. Another new blog coming soon. Tuesday, January 12, 2010. So yesterday was day 1 of detox week. Basically no dairy, sugar, simple carbs, or fried foods. Oh and the most difficult of all, no coffee, which meant no morning cappuccino! So breakfast yesterday was plain oatmeal, organic nitrate and nitrite free turkey bacon, and green tea. Another new blog coming soon. Sunday, January 10, 2010. Half-marathon training week 1 complete. Well, week 1 of half-marathon training is complete. Feeling pretty good! I definitely have a long way to go. My goal for January is to work up to running a 5K with ease. With that being the case I've been following this plan: http:/ www.halhigdon.com/5K%20Training/5-Knovice.htm. I started with week 2 on the plan and added some weight training. And my last run this week was 2 miles, not 1.75. Life is a Blessing.
