Monday, April 4, 2011. I love do-it-yourself projects. Because they're cheap and it's cool to be able to look at something and know that you created it. But mostly . they're cheap. LOL! So here's a bunch of my special projects and good luck finds. My mom sewed the curtain panels for Mia's room. All the fabrics in the room coordinate. Monday, April 4, 2011. It All Started with a Crib. I was told it would only be about 12-18 mths until I saw my daughter's face. So I started right away on my quest for the perfect crib. I knew it had to be white and convert into a toddler bed. After much searching, I finally found it! A store in Arizona was going out of business and liquidating their inventory on EBay. Monday, April 4, 2011. Picking the perfect apple green color was not as easy as it seemed. I was trying to match the fabric in the bedding. Temptation" was the winner. Which is usually the case with me. It took 3 coats to finally get it right. I was so happy to be done with that job! The ceiling and trim got a fresh coat of white as well. During the several months it took me to finish the painting, I'd come to the conclusion that I hated the gray carpet. Well, actually my brother-in-law and 2 of the T's.

Some days there are still tears. As I carry laundry up from the basement, I still expect to see him waiting for me at the top of the stairs. like he always did. Way out in the country. And there was a horse, too. Not my sister's animals but they live on the same land she does. Måndag 22 april 2013. Ha nu en fin start på denna nya vårvecka. Den skall inte innehålla en massa sol men förhoppningsvis så kommer solen tillbaka snart så man kan få lite soliga promenader igen =). Fredag 19 april 2013. Idag på jobbet blev jag så sugen på att baka men fick ju vänta till jag kom hem. Hemma letade jag upp ett recept jag tyckte verkade gott, körde iväg och handlade det jag fattades. Sedan drog jag igång och baka Chokolate Chip Cookies, som jag hittade på Annika Rognebys sida. 1,5 msk kakao.
