Jack of All Trades. And master of none. Friday, May 31, 2002. I went out East to visit my parents a few weeks ago. I went to church with my Mom and Dad at the church I grew up in - it's a mid- to large- PCA church in Maryland. I respect the pastor there, so I won't name the church or the pastor. The church we just left, Providence RPC. So I'm sitting in the service at my parents' church, and the first thing I notice.the pastor isn't wearing a robe. He just looks like a guy in a business suit. A friend of...

Jack of All Trades. And master of none. Saturday, June 29, 2002. Everyone seems to be doing this, so I guess I'll jump on the bandwagon. Birthday: Aug. 13. Hair Color: Dishwater brown. How long/thick is your hair: Chin-length and very thin and fine. Personality: I can be very talkative at times; at other times, I just want to sit in and observe. I'm a people-watcher. Have you had your appendix or tonsils out? Have you ever gone skinny dipping? Have you ever been convicted of a crime? Tattoos/Piercings: H...

Jack of All Trades. And master of none. Monday, February 25, 2002. When I was a little girl, my parents took me on a tour of the White House. I vividly recall being able to name the room we were about to enter before the tour guide mentioned it and finding even the paintings on the wall familiar. That experience has been one of the strongest instances of deja vu I have ever experienced. It was, to say the least, a very disconcerting experience. Skeptics, you have been vindicated. Alas, the "past live...

Jack of All Trades. And master of none. Tuesday, December 31, 2002. Yep, we're back. We went to Lowe's tonight to buy some things we need to get ready for company next week. At 5:58 we pulled into the parking lot. A woman said "Are you coming in? Because we're closed. We open tomorrow morning at 6.". It's New Year's Eve, a major holiday. I can understand opening late tomorrow morning to accomodate all the hung-over revelers, but why close early and open early the next day? Posted by Sarah @ 4:43 PM.

Jack of All Trades. And master of none. Friday, August 30, 2002. I spoke with a friend of mine last night who told me that the friend I talked about who was in a legal battle with her ex-husband has lost homeschooling rights with her son. He's the one I taught Latin to all last year. I haven't been able to find out if there were any more serious decisions made or not. Posted by Sarah @ 6:44 AM. Thursday, August 29, 2002. Wife, Sora,. I'm going to enjoy reading her blog. Posted by Sarah @ 6:32 AM. I didn'...

Jack of All Trades. And master of none. Monday, June 30, 2003. Why I really, really, really don't like dogs. I haven't posted since spring, so most of you don't know that Duane planted a garden. I helped him turn the ground over, but after that, he did most of the work. He planted peppers, jalapenos, corn, watermelon, cucumbers, beans, and tomatoes. Posted by Sarah @ 7:14 AM. Jack of All Trades. And master of none. Friday, January 31, 2003. I have nothing to say. Bailey's in bed, Duane's at Dabney. I'm here alone and even the cat is ignoring me. Wow I feel completely irrelevant. I haven't had a complete intelligent thought go through my mind since last Sunday, and even then I'm not sure if I thought it or heard it. Posted by Sarah @ 7:47 PM. Tuesday, January 28, 2003. Does anyone know (besides blogs) of a good. Posted by Sarah @ 12:25 PM. But it did give me a lot of insight i...

Jack of All Trades. And master of none. Monday, September 30, 2002. The senior class at the high school had 30 students last year. As I was waiting for the concert to start (I arrived very early since I didn't know how long it would take to get there. Plus, Dubach was having its annual chicken festival and I had heard there'd be a lot of traffic on the way.) the manager handed me my paycheck. It was a lot of money to me - a little under $100. Life doesn't get much better than this. Ain't no fun no more.

Jack of All Trades. And master of none. Thursday, February 26, 2004. Except for Eva Cassidy, Peter Cincotti, and Diana Krall, I haven't bought any new CD's in a very long time. Last week I joined BMG and ordered my seven free CD's. Here's what I ordered:. Phil Coulter and James Galway, Legends. Phil Coulter, Lake of Shadows. I'm not sure of the exact title; the case is in the car). Charlotte Church, Charlotte Church. Abba, Abba Gold. Barry Manilow, Ultimate Manilow. Soundtrack from The Sound of Music.
