An Appalachian, John Muir and the Devil's Postpile. Tuesday, August 01, 2006. Happy trails: Blog takes a hike. Apologies for not updating for a while. I was waiting for a blog site to be finished at fresnobee.com, and it's nearly done. The site isn't beautful yet, but it's functional. You can read future JMT blog entries from myself and the other reporters on the hike at:. Posted by Christina at 1:26 PM. Ambridge, Pennsylvania, United States. View my complete profile. A Song of Ascents: Worship in a church that God made
http://asongofascents.blogspot.com/2008/07/worship-in-church-that-god-made.html
A Song of Ascents. Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but stands fast for ever. Wednesday, July 2, 2008. Worship in a church that God made. For the past month, I've been living, working and worshipping in Sequoia National Park through a program called A Christian Ministry in the National Parks (www.acmnp.org). This picture shows me with some members of our ministry team after our first worship service together. More updates to come. What is the pay like? I'm a recover...

A Song of Ascents: Alleluia! Christ is Risen!
http://asongofascents.blogspot.com/2008/03/alleluia-christ-is-risen.html
A Song of Ascents. Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but stands fast for ever. Sunday, March 23, 2008. We know that Christ being raised from the dead will never die again; death no longer has dominion over him. For the death he died he died to sin, once for all, but the life he lives he lives to God. So you also must consider yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus. He is risen, indeed! March 23, 2008 at 9:48 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

A Song of Ascents. Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but stands fast for ever. Saturday, May 22, 2010. I'm done with seminary. This is my graduating class, standing outside of the cathedral in Pittsburgh on May 15. Next, God willing, I'll be ordained a transitional deacon in Albany, NY, on June 5. I just moved to upstate NY this week to prepare to begin doing church planting work in the city of Troy. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

A Song of Ascents: August 2007
http://asongofascents.blogspot.com/2007_08_01_archive.html
A Song of Ascents. Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but stands fast for ever. Friday, August 31, 2007. As an Anglican seminary rooted in the evangelical tradition, Trinity has a long-established custom of asking new students to give their testimonies during orientation. The questions: either 1. describe how you came to faith in Christ or 2. how you came to Trinity. Orientation is over now. Classes begin on Tuesday. For the safe arrival of my two housemates. I moved ...

A Song of Ascents. Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but stands fast for ever. Friday, January 2, 2009. Fighting through Seminary - the Halfway Point. Well, fall semester of middler year at Trinity has come and gone. Actually, half of seminary has come and gone. Yikes! At this crossroads, I just want to pause and thank God for leading me on this good road. Left to my own devices, it is never a road I would have chosen. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Food for the Poor.

A Song of Ascents: October 2007

A Song of Ascents. Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but stands fast for ever. Monday, October 15, 2007. I haven't been imagining it. The junior class likes to party. Besides liking parties, we're an ornery lot. Each week, we've taken to asking our longsuffering church history professor at least one impossibly divisive question. We've also asked him about infant baptism and some aspects of transubstantiation. I'm not sure what we'll come up with tomorrow. Of course, ...
