Life With...: March 2008
http://life-with.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
A little of this. A little of that. Full of Imperfections- like me. Friday, March 07, 2008. Maybe you have already heard about this, but if not on March 29 World Wildlife Fund wants you to join the movement to turn off the lights for one hour to reduce energy consumption. My city is participating in the challenge too, though this is a global effort that started in Australia. Check out the Earth Hour. No, the hardest part for me will be shutting off the t.v. and PVR. Life With...: The Clutch—Pre-Felt
http://life-with.blogspot.com/2007/06/clutchpre-felt.html
A little of this. A little of that. Full of Imperfections- like me. Tuesday, June 26, 2007. Thought you would all like a little proof of knitting. I will post a finished pick, maybe after I buy an embellishment for it. A hot pink clutch needs a little something to make it real purdy. Maybe a ribbon, a funky knit or crocheted flower would be fun too. Though no clue how you might make that. Very cute- my friend Kenric has made about 5 of these in the last two weeks! A friend to knit with. Every Word's A Pu...

http://life-with.blogspot.com/2008/11/if-i-could-i-would.html
A little of this. A little of that. Full of Imperfections- like me. Monday, November 03, 2008. If I could, I would. I have been following the U.S. campaign. I have two words for it- Barack Obama. Wow! My message to all of you is vote! Bring a friend, bring two. Have a tailgate party. I could, I did, and for the first time in eight years, I can hold my head up as an American. Sorry, world, for the past eight years. Maybe we can get it right now. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

Life With...: Finishing Details and What Next?
http://life-with.blogspot.com/2007/04/finishing-details-and-what-next.html
A little of this. A little of that. Full of Imperfections- like me. Tuesday, April 10, 2007. Finishing Details and What Next? I thought, how hard could it be? Well, apparently, finishing takes a bit of practice (sorry Kristin's baby, you get to be my guinea pig for this bolero.) I have taken away valuable lessons for future projects so I suppose that is an upside. It should get better from here, right? Now I am itching to buy wool for my next project. Is it lame to want to knit a tea cozy? The sweater lo...

Life With...: These feet were made for walking
http://life-with.blogspot.com/2007/03/these-feet-were-made-for-walking-and.html
A little of this. A little of that. Full of Imperfections- like me. Monday, March 12, 2007. These feet were made for walking. Big news happened over the week-end. My 10-month-old started walking! A fairy day was had by all today — even daddy joined in too! I am sooo glad to be home for these moments. Thankfully I have a wonderful husband who does the "dirty" work so I don't have to. Isn't he something? A friend to knit with. Oh my goodness.those legs! And that baby hat! The hat is perfect. Tweed Beret, I...

Life With...: November 2008
http://life-with.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
A little of this. A little of that. Full of Imperfections- like me. Saturday, November 15, 2008. The Summer of Food. I think that what I have been doing lately can be summed up by two book recommendations from my summer reading. One book that reassured me that it is all worth while is Apples to Oysters. By Margaret Webb. This is an every person's alternative to Michael Pollan (whom I also enjoyed reading this summer). The stories are warm and make you want to thank your local farmer. Lately I am hoping f...

Life With...: February 2009
http://life-with.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
A little of this. A little of that. Full of Imperfections- like me. Tuesday, February 17, 2009. In the past it hasn't been a really important date, but this year I must have seen about 1000 hand drawn hearts around the house. So I couldn't help making Valentine's a little extra special this year. These are the beaded hanging hearts we hung on the kitchen light. I made a garland like one that I had seen on Crafty Crow, but is no longer on the Web site. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
