Walking the Labyrinth: The Painful Blog Hiatus...
http://walkingthelabyrinth-cameron.blogspot.com/2015/03/the-painful-blog-hiatus.html
Sunday, March 15, 2015. The Painful Blog Hiatus. Months ago, my last post was that our kitten, Fand, had become very ill. Some where in here, I will go back and write about Fand. The loss of the four footed fur people that share our lives is always extremely painful. This one was devastating. But I realize its keeping me from my blog and I can't let it do that. So, moving on. I will write about her soon, when the happy memories are stronger than the sad ones. Debra She Who Seeks. March 15, 2015 at 7:22 PM.

Walking the Labyrinth: February 2014

Friday, February 14, 2014. Winter Storm Pax, Part Two. And, the first few days of the winter storm Pax, we spent companionably enjoying the snow, and all the things that go with it -. Children out sledding on the neighborhood hill - which faces north. And REALLY gets the snow/ice. Its great for sledding, but the one. And only time we had a snowplow actually show up in our neighborhood. About 3 years ago, it reached the top of the hill, stopped dead and carefully. Rail of wood and fulcrum of a heavy cinde...

Wednesday, June 12, 2013. The World's Not Owned But Held In Trust. Buddha at the Bodhi tree (Sri Lanka). Here, to the oldest living tree. Pilgrims have flown, sailed, crawled and bussed. To feel its shade to know its strength. The world’s not owned but held in trust. It never withers, fresh shoots grow. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust. Does not apply to such a tree. The world’s not owned but held in trust. Buddha, in this tree’s motherland. Had conquered self and fear and lust. To every living thing be just.

Tuesday, June 29, 2010. Http:/ www.sleeptalkinman.blogspot.com/. Right at the start of my round of shingles I got introduced to the funniest blog I've ever visited. (see above link). Seriously folks.go.read.listen. You will laugh. As someone who has amused friends with sleep behaviors before I'm totally tickled that there's someone out there who is hilarious in his sleep. It gives me the smiles. Oh and an update on the crud. It's everything people claim and worse. Links to this post. Links to this post.

Walking the Labyrinth: Dad and the Mini-Stroke, Part Two: Chasing Dad...

Wednesday, October 22, 2014. Dad and the Mini-Stroke, Part Two: Chasing Dad. To recap in brief, my Dad was admitted to the hospital. On August 27th with a minor stroke.well, one of the first things they did as they tucked him into his hospital gown, and ran IV's and medication (one being his blood thinner), was to put red socks on him. Now, red socks are a visual code at this hospital for "do not get out of bed without assistance from hospital staff, period.". Dad's socks looked like. THAT* got Dad's att...

Walking the Labyrinth: Difficult Times...

Wednesday, July 30, 2014. The air conditioning has been fixed, my phone has been replaced, and I have my van back.however all this has paled into utter insignificance by an abrupt decline in my father's health. He is 87 years old, and while he has been showing his age more and more the past few years, he has always been very healthy and able. Its my turn, Dad. Mom and Dad at the Greek Festival in 2014 - the picture below them in. The picture is of them on Dad's high school graduation day in 1944,. Subscr...

Walking the Labyrinth: March 2013
http://walkingthelabyrinth-cameron.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Friday, March 29, 2013. This to say about my Church. Good Friday.all the liturgical decorations down and gone, even to the Presence candle which is only extinguished once a year, to symbolically represent the death of Christ and the withdrawal of God's presence from Him. So this a geographical community that. Through their religious identity routinely marginalizes women to the kitchens and does not even allow them to pray aloud in church,. Believes pagans to be Satan worshipers, PERIOD,. I love my church!

Friday, May 24, 2013. The Question To Ask. F-5 Tornado tears into Moore, Oklahoma, May 20, 2013. When tragedy like the tornado of May 20th in Moore OK occurs, we hear the question why. Why did God let this happen? And we see people run to provide quick answers - some I've heard so far have been "people didn't pray hard enough to prevent it" (seriously, heard that one) or its "God's judgement on sin" (that one too.). And of course its God's judgement on gays, Islam, pagans, abortions - go fill in the blank.
