Of late I've seen many examples of this intricate knot work on the Micro-macrame Facebook page and have become intrigued. Here's a lovely piece by Adriana Lazzari. She teaches this technique and has a book out called “Macramé il Pizzo Margarete”. It can be ordered from Tombolo Disegni. And it is in Italian, so brush up on your language skills! Smitten by a knot. For the love of micro-macramé. Lark’s Head Knot. The square knot is very simple to do, just remember the old adage. Right over left then left over right. I started by attaching 2 (blue) cords using the Lark’s Head knot onto a (pink) horizontal mounting cord. The (purple) horizontal cord is used for mounting the lark’s head knots. Cut lengths of cord appropriate for your project. Fold cord in half forming a loop at center.
