Bob getting on a bit but class act and all round good guy. Dave leaves his print everywhere; has Greek citizenship. Daryl - most improved angler in the club but he needs taking down a peg or two. "I started fishing the Trent as a kid and got fed up of the small fish so I went to try and catch the bigger barbel and chub. I mainly fished lead and feeder and used pellet, bread, meat, you name it! Likes it up in the water. Thinking man's angler. Former Trent ace; getting a regular hammering off his son, Jack.

Cotgrave Welfare Diamond Angling Club. Just a quick update on the lake. Cefas will be visiting the lake tomorrow 23 08 2016 they will be putting notices up to inform the public that the lake as KHV. Then we will move on to see what control measures we have put in place to stop the spread of KHV. If he's happy with the net dip bins he will give us a date for reopening the lake I will post as soon as I know. PLEASE RING ME FOR INFORMATION. Cotgrave Welfare Diamond Angling Club. Cotgrave Welfare Diamond Angling Club was formed in 2003 after the closure of Cotgrave Colliery. Nottinghamshire County Council decided to develop part of the colliery site into a country park including a lake. Four past and present members contacted the council to ask about using the lake for fishing. The council agreed and leased them the lake and the fishing club was born.
