http://mkhawks.blogspot.com/2015/05/offer.html
After weeks of preparations and hold-ups, we finally listed our house last Wednesday. I'll tell ya, as exciting as it was, having to keep the house spotless and picked up with five kids was a challenge! Thankfully, by Saturday we had an offer! Now we just need to find a new house. We need to catch up! May 23, 2015 at 3:43 PM. May 23, 2015 at 4:44 PM. That is the best news ever! Now the exciting/stressful part of choosing a new home. Congratulations! I am excited to hear more. Lovin' Life: Family fun
http://mkhawks.blogspot.com/2014/03/family-fun.html
Over the last few months our family has been able to be a part of a lot of fun adventures. The kids still talk about it almost daily. Once child in particular (#3) is counting down the days (or years) until we get to go again. He already has planned out what he wants to do the next time. Hubs decided to buy a huge bag of mussels at Costco and learned how to prepare and cook them. The kids were fascinated by the process and needless to say, there weren't any leftovers. Even littlest ate a bunch! I love se...

Lovin' Life: April 2015
http://mkhawks.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Hub's opportunity to work from home came to us in an interesting way. Four years ago, before we decided to purchase a home in CA, we looked into other areas to raise our family. Hubs contacted a head hunter to look for jobs for us in Utah and the surrounding states. At the time, there were not any opportunities in valuation and so we decided to move forward with our life in CA. Utah seemed like such a fun idea! I would get to be close to all of my family and many friends. We would have snow in winter!

Feathers and Fingerprints: A Little Boy's Baseball Bedroom
http://feathersandfingerprints.blogspot.com/2013/08/a-little-boys-baseball-bedroom.html
Saturday, August 24, 2013. A Little Boy's Baseball Bedroom. A while back we started to transform our son's room from a fairy tale nursery. To a little boy's baseball bedroom. It took a while to get it together and it still isn't finished. But I thought I would share the progress we've made. You can read more about how we added baseballs to the bedposts here. The toy box got a new paint job with the same paint as the shelf. This is what the toy box looked like before (in all its crayon colored on glory!

Sew Graceful: February 2015
http://sew-graceful.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 18 February 2015. Paisley crewelwork at the RSN, Hampton Court Palace. I am belatedly catching up with and completing some embroidery projects that I started in the latter part of last year. One weekend in November, I returned to the Royal School of Needlework. To do a two-day course in paisley crewelwork. The tutor for the course was Florence Collingwood who I hadn't learnt from before, but whose teaching style I very much enjoyed. Tuesday, 17 February 2015. I recently returned from three lov...

Sew Graceful: December 2014
http://sew-graceful.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, 20 December 2014. The first cottage Christmas. So it is nearly Christmas - the first for me in this little Victorian cottage. The last three weekends and weeknight evenings have been spent finishing off the last bout of re-decorating for the year. Consequently, there hasn't been a great deal of Christmas trimming completed. But the essentials are in place - a wreath for the front door, and a tree. The wreath is from Home Sense, to which I added the burlap ribbon. Wednesday, 17 December 2014.

January 2015

January 31, 2015. By Mrs. Stewart. A little sketch for a sweet friend. Thought I’d share here, too. Her word for the year is “new.” When I replied that it brought this passage to mind, she exclaimed that it had, in fact, been the inspiration. Forget the former things;. Do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness. And streams in the wasteland.”. Just save the above image and print.🙂. January 29, 2015. Feathers and Fingerprints: October 2013
http://feathersandfingerprints.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 17, 2013. My son is constantly driving little cars around the house. He lays on the floor and pushes them around the living room and up the hall. A couple weeks ago I decided he needed a car track to cruise around. I scavenged a piece of chipboard from the garage and routed the edges. Ryan cut scrap boards into little block houses and each kiddo painted one. The girls also painted two blocks as a school and a store. Painting is very serious business. Links to this post.
