Thursday, February 28, 2008. Saturday, February 23, 2008. So here goes, for what it's worth.GO ORANGE! If you're skating on thin ice, don't jump up and down." Mike Pace, when asked about the antics of his beloved Hoosiers' hoops coach Kelvin Samson. Here! Thursday, February 14, 2008. With Mike's 30th birthday last weekend, we didn't need a hunt for reason to party. We had an actual event to celebrate! While we were busy getting everything settled, Poppy and Bret had to properly time the ending of the bal...

Thursday, November 22, 2007. I hope everyone has a wonderful, relaxing Thanksgiving Day! Thursday, November 15, 2007. With the wonderful cooks of our family (Mom, Mei-Mei, and Sherry) I really can't imagine anyone, well or sick, not able to enjoy such wonderful food. Heck, even my Mom's iced tea tastes like gourmet so you can only imagine her homemade yeast rolls, hot out of the oven, and dripping with butter! It's almost Friday ya'll! Have a good one! Sunday, November 11, 2007. And those of us with kids...

http://mikeandmelisa.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html

Wednesday, July 16, 2008. I apologize for the infrequent posting of late. I suppose with being on the upswing of cancer (praise the Lord) the need to post daily updates has subsided. Some biggies that should have made their way into the blogosphere. However: Mike's back at work! And all was clear. Assuming his health continues to positively progress, these BMBs. Will be scheduled further and further apart. Chalk it up to a bad nights sleep or has the cancer returned? Virus or has the cancer returned?

The Clarks: Ethiopia

http://rockyandsuzanne.blogspot.com/2014/10/ethiopia.html

Many, O LORD my God, are the wonders you have done. The things you planned for us no one can recount to you; were I to speak and tell of them, they would be too many to declare. Psalm 40:5. Wednesday, October 29, 2014. In the last week and a half I have begun to allow myself to feel some of the emotion from the trip. What does that look like? Also, someone who truly knows my heart sent this video to me this week. I believe it shares a glimpse into how I feel after my trip. I am forever changed an...Rocky...

Tuesday, June 10, 2008. There are currently 4 to 5 million orphans in Ethiopia. By 2012 50 percent of children will be orphans. This is a huge crises and because we are able, we wanted to give a home to a child with parents who will love him so much. Please pray for us as we have a very exciting journey ahead :).

Below are some pics I took, I know there are a lot, but it was the first wedding I've ever done. I LOVED it! What would I call it?

mike & mel dean

Mike and mel dean. Friday, April 17, 2009. Haven had a photo shoot with our good friend, Kristen Mayes. Kristen is such a good photographer! And what a cute subject, no? Haven was teething and had a runny nose, but she was so cooperative anyway. I just can't get over how blue her eyes look in these pics! And Haven is really pushing to be able to walk, even though she's just 10 months old now. She would be our earliest walker if she pulls it off! Monday, March 23, 2009. What Matters Most

Easter was the week after we moved into our new house and I thought this would be a disappointment because I wouldn’t be able to focus while unpacking, but we put a giant print where we hung several paintings of Christ and for awhile this was the only decoration in our home. This tradition was such a blessing and really, really helped me through a rough week! Nora wouldn’t sit still for her own portrait. Other than those sweet, sweet faces, these pictures are technically awful! Saint Patrick’s Day. It go...

I have a place where dreams are born and time is never planned. It's not on any chart, you must find it in your heart. Never Never Land. -Peter Pan. Yes Yes I did that. Thought that I would do as a parent (don't judge). Let Parker play with stuff from the trash while I run to the bathroom real fast (ever see the move Babies? Those kids played with much worse). Put hair clips in Parker's hair while he plays with my make up. I want to see what he would look like as a little girl. NBD. Here is Parker in the...
