Here is a set of old landing gear from a Cub. They are a little beat up but will be just fine for the old Speedwing. Notice that many years ago they were repaired. If you look close you can see a tube welded over the old one to act as a band-aid. Gives it a little charm. Old set of Cub gear for the Speedwing.

If you take a look at the tube size you will also realize the trailing and leading edges are smaller. The leading edge is 1/2″ @ .035 and the trailing edge is 3/8″ @ .035 Also similar to a Cub and a Taylorcraft. Baby Ace Speedwing rudder and Vert. fin.
