Joyst...

A record of eclectic experience. Archive for November, 2005. November 11, 2005 ⋅. For some time I have wished that I had access to a Flight Training Device or Flight Simulator that had real knobs and guages. Computer flight sims are fine but what I really want to do is practice IFR procedures and using a mouse and keyboard just doesn’t cut it. After seeing on the web […]. November 11, 2005 ⋅.

A record of eclectic experience. 8220;Universal” Globe. September 9, 2007 ⋅. Here is the opening from Heather’s leadership video. Its a ripoff of the Universal Globe. Paragon is the name of Heather’s gymnastics team. Used Blender. To make this. The Globe is a sphere with the “blue marble” earth map as a texture. Extruded text to make the “Paragon” letters (one letter at a time). Made a curve path for the letters to follow. Ripped the music from a DVD and presto. April 14, 2016, 4:18 am.

A record of eclectic experience. December 16, 2007 ⋅. Do you remember what the Astronauts sounded like during the Apollo program? Not old enough to have seen it or too old to remember? Well then, have a listen to this. I thought I would try to duplicate that classic sound. Its all about the Quindar tones. I added some pink noise, white noise and brown noise to some bandpass filtered and compressed audio along with the tones. Post a Comment Click here to cancel reply. Notify me of new posts by email.

A record of eclectic experience. First Post on New Site. April 24, 2012 ⋅. Next day I was amazed to see that the kernel actually compiled with no errors. Followed some more instructions from the web to get the kernel installed, and re-booted. What do you know, the machine actually rebooted and launched Linux 2.4. That was my intro to Linux. By the way, the picture is totally unrelated to this post, I just wanted to see how to attach a picture to a post. Post a Comment Click here to cancel reply.
