Thursday, July 26, 2012. 華麗なカーニバルの中心地、老舗カフェ「フローリアン」. カーニバルの伝統衣装が、最も似合う場所「カフェ・フローリアン 」. ベネツイアのカーニバルを見にきました。キリストの復活を祝うイースターの前には、肉食を断食したり、特別な祈りと節制の４０日間があります。その祈り期間に入る直前に無礼御免のお祭り騒ぎをするのがカーニバル。ヨーロッパの晩冬の風物詩です。 中世の頃から共和制をとり、バチカン教皇庁の支配も弱く、東洋にも開かれた港町だったベネツイアは、進取で自由な気風があり、カーニバルも他の街に比べて派手だったのだとか。 その習慣は、形を変えながらも守られ、現在でも毎年、中世後期かルネサンス期の仮面舞踏会の伝統衣装や仮面をつけた人達がパーティーを繰り広げたり、街をパレードしたり、、、あと衣装のコンテストなども催されているようです。 カサノヴァや、ゲーテ、ワーグナー、プルースト、ニーチェなどが. ともあれ、期間中のベネツイア旅行の現実は人の波。。。 雑誌「珈琲時間」２０１２年８月号から転載加筆させて頂きました。 Tuesday, July 24, 2012.

Wednesday, October 19, 2011. 最近の私の撮影のテーマは「天使」。天使像を撮るためにミラノの自宅を離れ、パリへと旅してきました。キリスト教美術に溢れるヨーロッパに居を移して１０年以上の時が経ちました。そんな美術を丹念に見て行くと、多種多様な天使達が至る所で登場するのを見るたびに、いつかテーマにしたいと思っていたのです。 死んでも、これだけ愛されれば、作家冥利につきるのでは？ 調べてみると、教会や美術館だけでなく、パリの墓地には立派な天使像が多いと分かりました。墓地とは最初は意外でしたが、地図を片手にした観光客もかなりいました。作家のオスカーワイルドの墓にはたくさんのキスマーク。作曲家ショパンの墓では花が飾られ、記念撮影に興じるグループ。湿った感じはあまりなく、静かな彫刻公園という印象。趣向を凝らしたお墓を脇目に「天使を探す旅」もなかなか楽しいものです。 この一杯が効いたのか、天使の写真に添える文章などが浮かんできそうです。では、また。 雑誌「珈琲時間」２０１１年１１月号の記事を転載させて頂きました。 Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). ミサの告知記事の隣に ...
