What was I thinking? Saturday, August 26, 2006. We said goodbye to Tigga this morning. This picture was taken this morning as she sat outside in the sun for the last time. She was purring away, almost to the very end. We knew she was in pain and, as much as we didn't want to have to do it, we took her in to the vet and had her put to sleep. What was I thinking? Thursday, November 30, 2006. Today is payday and my check is just shy of $100 heavier. When our union agreed with our employer on a new contract last year, the agreement contained language that would collect our "voluntary" deductions over 24 pay periods instead of our typical bi-weekly (or 26) time frame. Since this month had 5 Thursdays in it, this was the month that we didn't have that money collected. It's nice, since it's so close to the holidays. I also love the Mannheim Steamr...

What was I thinking? Monday, January 30, 2006. Is it possible the weekend is over already? Yeah, I guess so. We vegetated (mostly) the weekend away and I guess I'm ready for work this week. We did manage to get some rearranging done that we wanted to try out, and the only other thing I managed to get done was to replace my old, faded HRC sticker with a new one, and a marriage equality sticker from N.O.W. I think I'm going to enjoy this project. It doesn't seem so massive when you do a block at a time.
