militaryaviationbooks: July 2010

http://militaryaviationbooks.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html

Monday, July 12, 2010. I think that it is a very good idea to let your other half, or someone close, know of your book collection and its' value. As I have said before, if you keep your books in good shape they never loose their value. Most of the time they increase in value. So keep things current. It is sad to see what happens to some of these collections. They just disappear. So please, let friends and family know of your intentions. Keep the books active. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Wednesday, 17 December 2014. Alpnach Open Day 2014. Late Friday afternoon we pass by Meiringen air base, the low sun catching the Autumn trees, we are on route to Alpnach, for the Swiss Airforce open day, celebrating fifty years of the airfield. Being in Switzerland at the time a small diversion seemed in order. I used a Canon EOS. 1D, Canon 600mm f4 and 100-400 f4.5 5.6. A mix of AS332M-1, AS532UL and EC635PL Helicopters and PC-6 PC-21 fixed wing aircraft take part in the display. Friday, 28 March 2014.
