...in every footstep: My Dear Papa
http://hollyphen.blogspot.com/2008/08/my-dear-papa.html
Celebrating joy in the journey. Friday, August 1, 2008. During a birthday dinner, it's a tradition in our family to go around the table and express one thing you have appreciated about the birthday boy/girl that year. So, let's just imagine we're sitting around the table, and it's my turn, because today is my dear Papa's BIRTHDAY! Dad, one thing I have appreciated and admired about you this year, is your watchcare. You watch over your family - to be with and strengthen them. (D&C 20:53). I LOVE YOU, DAD!

...in every footstep: Changes!
http://hollyphen.blogspot.com/2008/07/changes.html
Celebrating joy in the journey. Wednesday, July 23, 2008. My goodness, life can just get so fun and crazy. :) After two months, Stephen and I decided that the apartment we were living in was not the most ideal for our situation, so we started scouting out a possible change in address. We worked and worked to find somewhere within our ward boundaries (because we absolutely LOVED our ward), but alas and alack - no luck! Tuesday evening we signed a contract. After fourteen applicants turned in their forms a...

Celebrating joy in the journey. Sunday, March 30, 2008. I should be frantically studying for finals.so this is the perfect time to do some blogging. :) No really, I've been good, but I think it would be okay to take a minute to share some pictures before my mind turns to mush for the day. It's been a while! So, here's a quick overview of some fun in March. FHE with our cute new friends in our ward. Our first time decorating eggs together. Our 2008 contribution to the Easter Bunny. And with Aunt Heidi.

Celebrating joy in the journey. Sunday, January 11, 2009. And we think we may have figured that old poem out. One of the first times talking to Stephen on the phone after he got back from his mission and we were still a state apart (hiding in the kitchen from the cameras trying to capture the huge grin I couldn't get off my face when I realized it was him calling). May 19, 2007. The night Stephen asked me to be his girlfriend. In a very bashful, sweet, stammering sort of a way). :). December 27, 2007.

Celebrating joy in the journey. Thursday, August 7, 2008. The Joys of our dear Deseret Industries. We have discovered the D.I. in American Fork to be a treasure trove of goodness. :). While we did not, unfortunately, bring home our furry friends, we did carry out this load of wonderful books. Stephen and I made a goal before we got married to work on our library little by little, so that when our children are old enough to read, they will not be at a loss for good material! Sounds good to me! Oooo, happy...

Celebrating joy in the journey. Monday, June 30, 2008. Marriage may be made in heaven, but the maintenance must be done on earth.". So, my sister has little counters on her blog that track when her friends add anything new to their blogs.and my face scrunched up when I saw that mine reports a hefty two months! Granted, for a good portion of that time we were without internet, but excuses aside, I do believe it is high time for some updates around here! We're so excited and proud of him! We started drivin...

Celebrating joy in the journey. Thursday, September 18, 2008. Merry Christmas, Holly! Holly's sleepy reply as she snuggles down deeper into the covers: "Thanks, you too, honey". What happened to the rest of September, October, and November? Not to mention December! Popped out of his mouth the other night. We realized that this is what Mesa feels like when it's almost Christmas, and this is his first experience with a real Fall season! Besides, he's going to Love fall.) :). He loves them. Ü. Oh, How Fun.
