Since inception the players in the tournament and other members of this group have made a donation to the charity Sleeping Children Around the World. The volunteers who deliver the bedkits to children in remote poverty stricken areas pay their own expenses to travel to these areas. There is a 3-year waiting list of volunteers willing to do so!
