Thursday, February 11, 2010. Making valentines - we certainly had plenty of supplies: punches, stamps, glitters, paint, markers, felt, fancy scissors. The girls went crazy! We moved camp by carrying the tents though the campground ( an interesting site) and loading the other stuff into the car. Brad and Rache arrived at about 6:30. I was so thrilled to hear Brad exclaiming, " I kept telling people all day at work 'we're going camping! Rick and Matt then biked 8 miles to the main thoroughfare where we picked them up. Sunday, June 24, 2012. I've been wanting to try. For a long time, so when the organization I work for stacked up some old junky furniture to send off to Goodwill, I decided to start off easy. The furniture was sturdy, so I snagged two of the chairs they were giving away to use as the header and footer for our small table when we have extra company over, and went to work. Fabric that coordinated with our decor. Nathan screwed the seats back into the frames. And we have our new chairs! Time to Move On.

Wednesday, January 29, 2014. We've seen a bit of snow this winter, but not nearly as much as we expected. I remember a couple of winters a few years back where the ground was covered with some amount of snow from November-March. Not this year! It's been much more mild (for which I've been very grateful! But this morning, we were finally able to use Rosalie's snowsuit and let her play in the snow. I was thrilled; Rosalie was less than enthused - too much wet and cold in her face!
