About my courses & workshops. Boost your mood & energy levels. When I’ve got an urgent writing deadline, the best intentions from my yoga practice tend to go out of the window. As the clock ticks away, my upper back rounds, shoulders lift, jaw sets and neck cranes towards the screen. My breathing gets shorter, shallower. I’ve also got a tendency to tighten the tummy – literally bracing myself for battle! Luckily I’ve found that even five minutes of calm, deliberate breathing. A few energising postures.
