Middot; Students not prepared technologically to participate in classes and contribute fully. Middot; Lack of commitment by the students. Middot; Almost non-existent atmosphere of collegiality. Middot; Sense of isolation. Middot; Lack of support (even though the campus provides support, tutoring, mentoring and a Student Resource Center).

LEARNING and DESIGN BLOG. CENTER for COLLABORATIVE ACTION RESEARCH. I finally settled on an app to build for my Design class! In fact, I had so much fun (hard fun! With the first app that I built that I used a different tool to build a second one! Record a mother's or father's voice either reading a bedtime story or singing a lullaby. Perhaps the phone's vibrate function could be incorporated to "beat" in time to the heartbeat. So what, you ask, does the train photo above have to do with soothing a baby?

One due to a resignation, one termination and one layoff. When you only have about 20 staff, losing three in one week is a lot. A milestone over the weekend. We finished the Summer term for MALT 16. On to Fall. Don't know how I did yet but I know I could have done better. An earlier post about drowning kind of sums up my experi...I am sure tha...
