The Johnson Family: November 2011
http://thejohnsonfamilyhappenings.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 15, 2011. We love the fall. We especially love the fall playing under our tree. Unfortunately for Brown, our tree produces a lot of leaves to be raked. So he decided to hire some help. She may be small, but she sure is enthusiastic about her work. She tries really hard. But occasionally she likes to takes a swing break. I guess she deserves it. At the end of the day, she sure is proud of the finished product. At least she is cheap labor. Thank for the help Millie! From what I can tell, ...

The Turners: Six Months Old
http://kbturner826.blogspot.com/2012/03/six-months-old.html
Thursday, March 1, 2012. This precious little angel is six months old already.time flies! Little bit weighed in at 14lbs 5 oz. and is 25 1/4 inches long. At her 6 month check-up Hadley had to get her heel pricked.brave girl didn't even flinch. She just looked at the nurse and watched her stick her and squeeze on her foot. I was shocked! I seem to remember her big brother being quite dramatic getting pricked, ha! If she had some teeth, I'm fairly confident she'd eat anything we put in front of her! We hav...

The Johnson Family: October 2012
http://thejohnsonfamilyhappenings.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 24, 2012. After 4 weeks of being cooped up in the house, we thought we should all hit the road and head east. We love going to see all the cousins (and their mama and daddy), and it was time for Sims to meet the crew! And what a crew it is! Excuse the bad picture). There are always fun adventures to be had when we go there. Like playing in the rain. Hanging out with fun people while watching Aunt Mimi ride a bike. And getting to eat apples on the porch with your best friend. Millie usu...

The Johnson Family: Lake Fun
http://thejohnsonfamilyhappenings.blogspot.com/2013/01/lake-fun.html
Friday, January 11, 2013. After the Thanksgiving festivities in Birmingham, (yes I know this is VERY late), we headed south to the lake for some fun and relaxation! While we were there, we enjoyed some fun at Catherine's Market! What could be more fun than a carriage ride and a sucker? We got to visit with Santa. We also got to feed some turkeys. Poor turkeys didn't know what hit them when these girls got in their pin. They loved the turkeys and would not stop feeding them! Nice orange crocs Dada.

The Johnson Family: June 2012
http://thejohnsonfamilyhappenings.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 4, 2012. Since you only turn 2 once in your life, we definitely had to celebrate this milestone with our sweet little Millie! The morning of the big day, (May 3rd- clearly, I'm still running late on these posts) our new 2 year old woke up to her birthday pancakes! The candles were a hit, but tasting her very first powdered donut got a big thumbs up. Dada had to go off to work. But then got to meet up with us for a birthday lunch and a cupcake in the front yard! This face says it all. And if ...

The Johnson Family: September 2011
http://thejohnsonfamilyhappenings.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 1, 2011. The weather in North Carolina has been so nice that we have been spending most of our time under this. We love our tree. Especially because it holds our favorite swing. This week we've been doing lots of fun things under this tree:. First, we practiced our maraca shaking. If you know of any bands needing a new maraca player, we have your girl. She is very passionate about keeping the beat and is pretty cute too. It was a huge hit. We have to borrow our mama's glasses.

Sunday, April 28, 2013. Our Journey to Ethiopia. Words can't express the emotions that we were going through leaving home on Thursday! The hardest thing I have ever had to do was leave Eli at home but also we were so excited and ready to meet Jeremiah for the first time. Through prayers from family and friends and clinging to some of my favorite verses, God was my rock and I handled leaving a lot better than I thought I would. God continues to teach me that he is in control and works out every detail!
