St. Hilary's Miniature Church: June 2010
http://miniaturechurch.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 2 June 2010. Reunited with St. Hils. Just to say I have been allowed home from hospital as I await biopsy results and then they will decide on what course of treatment to take. Outcome does not look good but if they do give me treatment I hope to have a chance of some kind of extra life. At least I can now sit and look at my beloved church and have the company of my husband and pet birds. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. St. Hilary's Miniature Church: September 2009
http://miniaturechurch.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 30 September 2009. And more games to play in St. Hils. You will be pleased to know I am now much better thank goodness! Enough of my broadband whinges. I am back on my games theme for St. Hils! I really fancied having a miniature 1/12 scale snakes and ladders game for the children to play - for those for whom chess was a bit too challenging! And so I did a search on Ebay and presto.I found THE perfect solution. Miniatures.inc. We sadly love Big Brother folks! The counters look really good but ...

http://miniaturechurch.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Monday, 24 August 2009. And more ideas for St. Hils.even for Christmas! Well - I have to confess I have decided to skip a bit further ahead beyond Harvest but have no fear - it WILL be done and Harvest will happen in St Hils this year! So with this encouragement we felt it HAD to be done again this year. And so our theme is very different from last year but you will have to visit us on the 1st December to find out what it is! However to give you a taster you can see Miss Enid (at the top here! I am being...

St. Hilary's Miniature Church: Of Bonnets, boaters and hats............when to wear them and......when not!
http://miniaturechurch.blogspot.com/2010/04/of-bonnets-boaters-and-hatswhen-wear.html
Monday, 12 April 2010. Of Bonnets, boaters and hats.when to wear them and.when not! Well that was my position the other day as I mused on this latest blog idea. I wanted to find the photos I know I used for my very first Easter day page on St. Hils because I had put most of my "girls" in "Easter bonnets" for the occasion. Could I find them? NO - I checked my back up drive and no folder was present for Easter Day in 2004 which was our first full year in St. Hils. Here above you can see Emily. (. I expect ...

St. Hilary's Miniature Church: October 2009
http://miniaturechurch.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Friday, 30 October 2009. St Hils may be a miniature dollshouse church but to Pebbles it is. It is true.St. Hils really IS a 1/12 scale miniature church.well to me, and you and, of course to many others too. However to our Pebbles it is something FAR more important and that is.an outpost for sentry duty! Of course to Pebbles as to our dear late Cheeky, "unwelcome" unfortunately for us, means something completely different. The composer of which temporarily escapes us both but Andrew thinks it may be Parry).

Turning Fifty is NO Fun! Wednesday, 18 November 2009. This isn't going to be a long rant.sorry meant to say "blog"! I am referring to one particular advert that hit me between the eyes.and it read something like this."Do you need to find somewhere for your elderly parent? And the answer for me is a big NO! Both are dead and buried sadly.but even if they weren't I would not feel much cheered up when logging into Facebook to see THAT advert staring me in the face! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). .Turning Fifty is NO Fun!: ISA do...............ISA don't..............................
http://turningfiftyisnofun.blogspot.com/2009/11/isa-doisa-dont.html
Turning Fifty is NO Fun! Saturday, 7 November 2009. ISA do.ISA don't. Once you have turned 50 there is every reason to say you almost NEVER forget how old you are. because society loves to remind you. I can say that today was certainly one of those times. You see.we took our usual Saturday morning trip out and Andrew, my hubby, needed to go into the bank. So I waited for him.but as I waited for him I found myself picking up two leaflets for ISAs (. For my international visitors this is a tax free savings.
