Wee Men under the Bed: March 2012
http://weemenunderthebed.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Wee Men under the Bed. Wednesday, 7 March 2012. So this where I started from. A 1000 point Japanese army for BKC. I first set out terrain features but notice the top right hand corner where the fern is. It is actually the top of a palm tree from Pendraken. I snipped of the top and drilled a hole in the base and then glued it in place. Next time I will use a cocktail stick. There are a couple others on the bases near the front. I then added some leaves cut from the Pendraken palm trees. Here is another pi...

Ivan's Heroes: SAGA Wooden Oaths Games
http://ivansheroes.blogspot.com/2014/09/saga-wooden-oaths-games.html
Sunday, September 28, 2014. SAGA Wooden Oaths Games. We are doing a SAGA league at the FLGS. Players are loosely organized into two teams: Defenders of the British Isles, and Invaders (the latter being mostly Vikings. Yesterday we did a four player game. My ally Pete plays Anglo-Saxons. I had my Anglo-Danes. We were opposed by Matt's Norse-Gaels, and Dave's Vikings. After a random draw for set-up, each pair of allies ended up on opposite corners of the table. Ivan's Heroes: October 2014
http://ivansheroes.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Saturday, October 11, 2014. My Anglo-Danes faced Dave's Vikings for The Confrontation scenario in our SAGA league. I got the first turn, but had a poor roll of the SAGA dice (no helmets, even after using Noble Lineage to re-roll my dice, leaving me with a mix of four Horses and Axes). I decided not to activate my Warlord, because in his Pride, he would have no choice but to charge the Viking leader if I did so. Instead, I moved up his loyal Huscarls to help. Noticing that the turn limit was almost up, Da...

Ivan's Heroes: July 2012
http://ivansheroes.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 25, 2012. DBA War of the Roses Lancastrians (10mm). I started painting these guys about a year ago, in preparation for a War of the Roses-themed tournament at Millenium Con last November. They were only half-finished at the tournament, which probably accounts for my lacklustre performance. I finally completed the army in March of this year. First up are two pics of the entire army:. Another shot of the Exeter lads. Again, in a defensive formation. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). I post on TMP...

Wee Men under the Bed: 6mm Seven Years War Prussians
http://weemenunderthebed.blogspot.com/2014/01/6mm-seven-years-war-prussians.html
Wee Men under the Bed. Sunday, 19 January 2014. 6mm Seven Years War Prussians. I have gone for a base width of 30mm square but to save time based the infantry and cavalry on 60 by 30mm. I have placed a few games with ECW figures but now have my own army. Baccus have as yet not released a full Ottoman range as yet as that is my first choice to add another force. Still no rush as Craig at the club has some Russians to do. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Dropzone Commander - The Scourge.

Wee Men under the Bed: August 2012
http://weemenunderthebed.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Wee Men under the Bed. Tuesday, 14 August 2012. Quick visit to Claymore. Quick visit to Claymore. That is an understatement. I was only their about just over an hour. I only had time to pick up my pre orders and the items off my list. No chance to see any games unfortunately. I did pick up everything.Yipee! More 20 mm Vietnam stuff from Grubby tanks. Just more vehicles, VC sappers and more US marines to fill some gaps. At some point I will take a few months to paint all this. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Wee Men under the Bed: It's all gone quiet over here
http://weemenunderthebed.blogspot.com/2014/02/its-all-gone-quiet-over-here.html
Wee Men under the Bed. Sunday, 23 February 2014. It's all gone quiet over here. It's all gone quiet over here. Not really. After pushing the 6mm army for Maurice and completing the Dropzone Commander starter set I changed periods and scale. Thought I would get stuck in to my Vietnam stuff. Should get some pictures this week as I have just about completed all the Britannia figures. They have been easy to paint and I have completed 62 so far. Only to tidy up another 30 and all of those will be done.
