We had so much fun, but I can't believe it is almost done! Addie is eagerly anticipating the start of her education. Let me rephrase that, she is excited to use her new lunch box, thermos, play on the playground, make new friends and meet her teacher! Lukey Poo is almost 9 months old and getting stronger every day! Stefan, Betsy, Addie, James, and Luke. Tuesday, March 17, 2015. Luke - Post surgery. Lukey had a successful GJ-tube surgery yesterday. He went in at 3:45pm and we finally got to see him around 6:15pm. He was REALLY sleepy. We stayed with him until around 9:00pm and went home to sleep and be with the kids. That was a really hard decision, but we knew he was in good hands. They have given him an extra dose of seizure meds to put a stop to them, and so far it seems to help. Luke and I went in today for his 6 month ABR post-ear tube surgery and his hearing loss is now at 65 decibels, putting him in the moderate to severe range instead. He is no longer a candidate for cochlear implants, and will be able to hear and understand speech with hearing aids! I am overwhelmed and overjoyed by His miracles! Thank you for your prayers! Dec 31, 2009. After Nate got back we took one last trip to Lisbon before we left Germany for good. We walked all over the city and it was beautiful. We took a day trip to Sentra which is just outside of Lisbon. We went to Pena Palace and the Moorish Castle ruins. What a wonderful way to end our time in Germany! While Abby and I were busy, Hayden got his wand and was able to do some magic around the hotel by following his map! This baby loves to play in the water!
