Tuesday, January 19, 2010. I just ordered a suckling pig from Marvin's Meats. They assure me it will fit in the oven, but I have my doubts. Last Friday night I went to a party where the host had installed an empty pool inside half this old house. All you could see were legs flying past the windows as folks skated the bowl from the living room to the dining room. Half the fun was waiting for someone to get decapitated. Sunday, November 23, 2008. Videotaped in a shed somewhere on the peninsula. The new issue of the Minus Times has been mailed to Chicago for publication. It is 72 pages long- basically a double issue with twin interviews by David Berman and Harmony Korine. We hope to see it printed before the next Kentucky Derby, but who knows when it will see the light of day. In the meantime, we are reluctantly joining the 21st century. Occasional posts will follow. This month's posting is actually a story by Ted McDermott, a young gentleman who escaped Columbia, SC in a laundry bag and still has coon hounds frantically searching for him in the woods ringing the barbed wire encampment we both once called home. Somehow they didn't hear all the clinking liquor bottles stuffed in there with him. Once I figure out how to cut and paste into this f- -ing blog, I'll have it legible.
