Misadventures Abroad

Tuesday, May 25, 2010. Last month I took my first trip to the west coast. As long as I can remember, I have been slightly obsessed with going certain places, and on that list was California. As I have gotten older, San Francisco has been calling my name. So El Hombre and I hopped on a plane and headed over for about five days. We stayed in Oakland with friends and travelled around the Bay area, hitting up most of the main tourist sites, like Union Square, Fisherman's Wharf (We saw sea lions! Muir Woods B...

Misadventures Abroad: Flowers in the Northland

http://misadventures-abroad.blogspot.com/2009/08/flowers-in-northland.html

Thursday, August 6, 2009. Flowers in the Northland. This post is about a sojourn I took up north in the beginning of the summer. I headed to Rochester, New York and spent a lot of time outside since the weather was delightful (i.e. you could go outside and not sweat :) I also ended up taking a million pictures of pansies. And other flowers. There was a lilac festival going on too. Beautiful pictures.keep up the good work. September 28, 2009 at 3:48 PM. February 9, 2010 at 12:49 PM. The day has started.

Misadventures Abroad: October 2009

http://misadventures-abroad.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html

Friday, October 2, 2009. Before this most recent trip to Italy, I had only visited the Tuscan region of Italy twice. Once for an afternoon trip to Pisa (highly overrated in my opinion) and once for a weekend trip to Florence. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). 305: Misadventures in the MIA. Just another WordPress.com site. A year ago, I started this blog to record my misadventures in dating and love. While I have accumulated numerous stories–both good and bad, I think it’s also important to note how these experiences have affected me as a person. That Awkward Moment When…. You realize your current partner is very much like your father. That Awkward Moment When…. You meet your boyfriend’s exes. So…you saw my guy’s package too, huh? How’d you like it? Eventually, the server came over to tell ...

MisAdventures- Europe

Its not like were newcomers to European travel. Im even proud that in 94 we 2 spoiled Americans hiked through England and Scotland with backpacks. but that was then. It's optimistic to label this 6 wk trip "planned." BUT we knew our dates: 6/2 - 7/14/2009! Greg did spend 3 wks. Great travel book on Germany-Austria. I did spend 10 days reading Greg's notes and Googling places to stay in towns Greg listed. So that was The Plan. not up to my usual obsessive standards. Links to this post. Worked like a charm...

our adventures into the unknown

Our adventures into the unknown. Friday, May 21, 2010. Where we're up to. Miss Tati's hips aren't behaving as they should. So we've in the process of getting surgical consults to look at where/when/how/if/when/what/when. Her progression isn't typical so it's not making the deicsion making/predictability easy for me. Can we count on two hands the number of treatments? Speech therapy (home exercises). Occupational Therapy (home exercises). Physiotherapy (serial casting, stretching, exercises at home).
