From the Resin Kitchen. My obsession with resin spikes and spheres continues to grow. Now I am trying bones and other organic matter, suspended in plastic– forever! Here are some animal parts collected in Wyoming. Courtesy of Andrew Oesch. Wing, claw, vertebrata, piece of jaw. What more do you need? These are Pollock otoliths I collect in the Bering Sea and the Gulf of Alaska. I’m glad to have finally found a suitable use for them. Pearls, glass, spines. …and a small mouse. One Room at the RISD Museum. Event last Saturday was great! Big thanks to Hollis Mickey for the photographs! Spikes and Spheres. Polyester resin with bones, mice, bees, shattered glass, and dye. From left to right: “Evening Primrose”, “Red Floral”, leaves for “Swamp Pink”, “Secret Forest”. Visitors to the museum came and sat with me while I knitted and talked to me about my work. there were a lot of great questions!

Show at the Dirt Palace in Olneyville Square. In February I installed some of my knitted pieces in the storefront window gallery at the one and only Dirt Palace. In Providence, RI.
