Wednesday, August 12, 2015. On the last Saturday before the crazy started we took a little Colorado adventure to Bishop's Castle. This is a castle that has literally been made from scratch by one man, and one man alone. It's pretty amazing, and also scary that we're teetering on these high bridges and trusting in the construction skills of this guy! Saturday, December 13, 2014. Yes, I am WAY behind! Dan and I had our 11th anniversary on October 6th, which happened to be a Monday, and he happened to not be working! See, he often works on the weekends and gets a comp day on Mondays. With the kids at school that equals a date for us! We decided to do something a little different, and we got tickets to ride the train at the Royal Gorge down in Canon City. They had this creepy guy in the model train. We were being a little silly! Man I love that guy!

November 10, 2014. Another Halloween came and went. We kept things pretty low-key this year. First we hit up our ward Trunk-or-Treat, where we played carnival-style games, ate lots of chili, and got tons of candy trunk-or-treating. On the actual night of Halloween, we cooked up a Papa Murphy's Jack-o-Lantern pizza, then dressed up and went trick-or-treating around our neighborhood.
