There you have it folks. Just another WordPress.com weblog. Our Children’s Emotional Life. For so many generations showing emotions was seen as weak. Parents have used physical punishment, yelling, emotional blackmail and many other forms of punishment to shame children for feeling “negative” emotion. But why? My daughter was feeling rejected. I first looked annoyed and even thought to say “omg just suck it up! 8221; However I stopped, looked within and asked myself what would I need in her situation?
