Love, Miss Cackle x. Who would have ever thought that the sweetest things in life would be . Tiny hats with rabbit ears. Fleecy pink miniature boots. Baby-sized jeans with the cuffs rolled up. A pink duffel coat, just the right size for a Tiger. Sandwiches cut into crustless squares. Wiping a little snuffly nose. Peekaboos with towelling bibs. Tickling sweet baby feet until laughter comes. Four perfect white teeth. The feel of the softest fingers in the world, stroking your cheek. Love, Miss Cackle x.

Love, Miss Cackle x. My baby is going to b e a poet when she grows up. Actually, she could be a basketballer. Or a scientist. Or a hairdresser. Or work in a lolly shop. Or make necklaces out of pieces of broken vintage crockery. I don't actually mind. As long as she's happy, I don't mind what job she has (unless it's TOO dangerous - if she decided to become one of those people who disables landmines in scary countries, I might have a few quibbles about that). And I was so proud. My little girl is growing...

Love, Miss Cackle x. Tiger has discovered her tongue. Or, more specifically, she has discovered how to stick it out. The first time she did it, I called HB in a panic, sure she was having some sort of anaphylaxis and her tongue was too big to fit in her mouth. We decided to "keep an eye on her", just in case.
