We spent about 9 hours in a van today traveling to Mali's orphanage and another group member's orpahange. AMAZING experience. Mali was excellent all day. A little fussy when we visited her orphanage, but maybe that was to be expected. Anyway . . We saw her bed, too (toddler bed, no crib). We were able to relax a bit this morning, didn't have to meet in the lobby until 9:30am. I've had to wake Mali up every morning since we've been here. She's slept at least 11-12 hrs every night. Saturday, 13 August 2011. We’re back at Kambuku Lodge in Lilongwe after a week at Kindle Orphan Care near Salima. We had a brilliant week and really enjoyed leading the Bible studies with the youth groups and learning more about the work that Kindle does.
