Notice the object in the foreground. It's called a "Donkey Boiler". That's what heated our water for a shower. The white bucket was filled with water then poured into the funnel on top. Hot water was then extracted into the metal bucket on the ground in front of the boiler. This is where we ate our meals. They were great! In thi...

Our Mission to Africa. Sunday, April 6, 2014. 28 Mar 2014. We took half day off and went to Rhino/Lion Park. This is a Gemsbok. They're beautiful animals. The horns of the animals here are permanent. They don't shed like our deer, elk and moose. This Cape Buffalo was lying next to the road as we drove by. I didn't dare get out and throw a rock to make him stand up. More people are killed by Cape Buffalo than any other animal. They said "no, we were too scared to even move". April 10, 2014 at 8:06 AM.

The shepherds looked spectacular in their camel hair robes. Angels and wise men were also welcomed. The stable was crowded for the joyous occasion. Punch and cookies were enjoyed by all afterward. In preparing for a special event later this month we thought it would be good to drive the routes first and get familiar so we drove to Durban which is about 350 miles to the South where many of the meetings will be held. 5 hours to St Lucia which is on the Eastern coast of Africa.
