Uncle Bob's Blog: November 2010
http://robertlaycock.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 7, 2010. Adventures on State Street. So, I had kind of an interesting experience last night, and you won't be surprised to hear that it has something to do with meat. However, it was nothing that I could have ever expected. And no, it had nothing to do with me dropping ribs on the ground, although I'm sure there were some ribs involved. Anyway, I should probably just get to the story. Fast food restaurant that was advertising 99 cent tostadas. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Mature to the MAX.

Choose Your Own Adventure. Although we can't always choose what happens to us in life, we can always choose how we live it. So here's to choosing our own unique personal journeys! Or adventures, if you will. ;) This is an account of my NYC adventure and the choosing that comes along the way. Friday, May 31, 2013. I see skies of bluuuuue! Look what I did today! So good for the soul. Even better than chicken soup. I'm so glad we did it. Do you know what is also good for the soul? The young men and women pr...

VDB Family: Long Island, NY
http://sharkvdb.blogspot.com/2015/07/long-island-ny.html
Thursday, July 2, 2015. Long Island, NY. So once again I'm WAYYYY behind on blogging and journaling what we have been up to lately. So in an effort to remember what we've done, a few quick pics and posts about the last few months. We took a three day weekend trip to Long Island, NY to visit Clark's sister Diane. Connor was unbelievably sick the whole weekend. The car ride out there was miserable. He was crying pretty much the 5 hour trip, he was so feverish and just miserable, poor kid. Long Island, NY.

Thursday, May 15, 2014. Found a huge refrigerator box in our trash room. decided to turn it into a car. why I think I'm crafty, I'm not sure, because they never turn out like the ones I see on Pinterest (my sister Shannon got me hooked on this website). By the end of the day, the wheels were off, the paper ripped off and the back of the car gone :) Guess it was fun while it lasted. Shelly Van Den Berghe. This picture is absolutely adorable. I love everything about it. Shelly Van Den Berghe.

VDB Family: Connor has an annoucement...
http://sharkvdb.blogspot.com/2015/07/connor-has-annoucement.html
Thursday, July 2, 2015. Connor has an annoucement. Baby #2 Van Den Berghe is expected to arrive early October. We've excited. What do we want? Hard to say. With Connor, I wanted a boy 100%, but I'm really fine with whatever this time around. For Connor's sake, I want a boy, but we'd be perfectly happy with a girl too. So this post I guess was supposed to have uploaded months ago.so I'll keep what I wrote and update from here. We are having a girl! Shelly Van Den Berghe. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

VDB Family: Connor's Farm
http://sharkvdb.blogspot.com/2015/07/connors-farm.html
Wednesday, July 22, 2015. Last weekend we headed to Connor's farm in Danvers, MA. They were having a blueberry/raspberry festival. It was suppose to rain (thankfully it didn't), but the cloud cover was much appreciated. Once those disappeared in the afternoon, it got way to hot, thus we left. Overall it was a great time. And Connor passed out as soon as we got back in the car :). He was in tractor/car/truck heaven. Our attempt at a family photo. Shelly Van Den Berghe. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Tuesday, May 12, 2015. The BEST. Worst. Day ever. I decided I was going to be brave and take Connor to the beach by myself. I had invited a few people, but nobody could go, so I packed the car and off we went. It was beautiful. 70s and a little breeze. We practically had the whole beach to ourselves. I was trying so hard to just be fun and let him be a kid. We were running around playing beach soccer, running up as close to the waves as possible, and then running away before they got us. So then I spent ...

The Southern family: Colonial Days - July 2nd
http://southerns.blogspot.com/2011/08/colonial-days-july-2nd.html
Sunday, August 14, 2011. Colonial Days - July 2nd. It was really interesting to watch the cooper, baker, potter and the lady doing tatting. It's amazing the time and talent it takes to make all of those things - things we take for granted now. This lady tatted the most amazing purple lace. The cooper making a pail. He was selling his pails for over $100 but after watching him for a bit I can see why. It is very time intensive. The village potter. This was Dave's and the girls favorite one to watch. Simpl...

Saturday, February 23, 2013. The World Needs You to Stop Being Boring". Note: I realized while writing this that it might sound like I'm being really hard on myself. Don't worry. I've been doing fine, these are just some thoughts I've had on what I can be doing better. It was actually pretty good. If you somehow managed to not notice it anywhere, you can find it here. Do I really not do anything new that's worth mentioning? That extra "e" adds an extra element of danger. This desire to add a little more ...
